What can you do to improve your credit?
Until recently, there were very few options, mostly dealing with disputes and your credit rights. Recognizing the need for a national program, the American Center for Credit Education developed Credit When Credit is Due to give individuals a better knowledge of money issues and responsibilities revolving around the world of credit.

This course is the nation's first when it comes to comprehensive credit education. It is modeled after the same concepts as a driver's education course. When people take driver's education and learn the rules of the road and necessary driving skills, they are considered better drivers.

The same theory applies to consumers who are borrowing money or asking for credit. Individuals who successfully complete the Credit When Credit is Due course should be better able to handle their finances in the future.

What will I know when the course is complete?
- You will have a better background on how credit works and learn what is required of you when you borrow money.
- You can gain lender recognition that you have taken positive steps to educating yourself in the area of money and credit.
- You learn to spot all the little credit traps and danger zones.
- You learn how to spot looming money problems and how to deal with them before they became insurmountable.
- You learn 24 positive steps you can take to improve your credit rating.
- You learn to evaluate good deals and bad ones.
- You can add a positive statement to your credit report.

What is the cost of the program?
